NEXAccelerate Philippines

Accelerating clean energy startups from revenue to investment-ready.

About

The Philippines’ startup ecosystem is expanding rapidly, but clean energy startups still remain underrepresented, with most initiatives focusing on other industries. Despite a sixfold increase in clean energy startups—raising nearly $1.3 million—87% of this funding comes from grants and competitions, highlighting a dependence on non-investment capital. Many of these startups still lack the business skills and investor access needed to scale their solutions.

To bridge this gap, New Energy Nexus launched NEXAccelerate Philippines—an 8-month, free hybrid program designed for early-revenue and growth-stage clean energy and climate-tech startups. The program identifies investment-ready ventures and equips them with the support needed to secure funding and strategic partnerships. It will also facilitate valuable connections with technology developers and corporates to unlock pilot projects and long-term collaborations.
