About

Batteries are the backbone of the clean energy transition, yet today’s battery supply chains remain highly concentrated and often inequitable. Communities producing critical minerals frequently capture little value while bearing environmental and social costs.

We’re working to change this. Our Just Batteries initiative democratizes battery innovation across the entire lifecycle from sustainable extraction and community centered development to manufacturing, deployment, and advanced recycling. We empower diverse entrepreneurs and communities to participate in, and benefit from, the battery revolution.
