Climate Tech Ecosystem Building – 2 December at 10:30am

New Energy Nexus CEO, Danny Kennedy, will give a keynote presentation on how entrepreneurs are the agents of change in this critical decade of action.

Location: Tech and Innovation Hub Stage, Hall 2, Green Zone

Public Finance Powers Private Investment – 4 December at 11:20am to noon

This discussion will focus on identifying and laying out the steps and partners needed to pilot global funding initiatives. Panelists will highlight their successful examples of public financing that has catalyzed private financing. The goal of this discussion is to convene interested stakeholders and cooperate on future financing programs.

Hub71+ ClimateTech program  – 5 December at 11:00am

Come join us as we launch our new joint climate tech program in the UAE with Hub71. Hub71, Abu Dhabi’s global tech ecosystem, will announce the launch of Hub71+ ClimateTech, a specialist ecosystem to support startups worldwide that are advancing the development and deployment of climate tech.

Climate Champion sharing session – 8 December at 11:00am-noon

Hear from Xia (Susan) Li, the founder of Power-Solution and CEO of Solar Run Energy – a Chinese solar startup providing off-grid household solar solutions to millions of families in countries across Africa and the world. Our team in China have provided Li Xia and her businesses with the strategic connections and mentorship to support her success.

Three startups from the NEX COP28 Climate Tech Accelerator will join a panel hosted by The Global Education & Leadership Foundation. They are  Boomitra, Fika Mobility, and Enzinc.

Andrew Chang, Program Director at New Energy Nexus will be a guest panelist at the “Scaling Resilient Climate Solutions” event hosted by Startup Nation Central.

New Energy Nexus CEO Danny Kennedy is moderating a panel discussion, hosted by COP28/Abu Dhabi Sustainable Finance Forum.

A new era of disruption is upon us, with technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, robotics and automation driving the tidal wave of innovation that is reshaping the next decades of the world as we know it. Yet as we speak, the sixth wave of innovation is already dawning, and we must ask where these technologies will be applied to climate. There are big questions that need to be understood and answered which our expert panel will unravel with an eye to preparing us all towards a more sustainable future.
