Accelerating clean energy solutions through women’s leadership

About

Women play a pivotal role in deploying clean energy solutions for last-mile and under-served communities yet remain dramatically underrepresented and underfunded in the global clean energy ecosystem.

We work to change that. Our Women in Climate initiative removes systemic barriers and builds entrepreneurial ecosystems that enable them to launch and scale climate solutions, particularly across the Global South where their leadership can deliver both climate and community impact.

Structured pathways to clean energy entrepreneurship that combine technical capacity building and peer mentorship tailored to local cultural contexts.

Women’s Agribusiness Climate Adaptation Accelerator (Vietnam)

Gender-responsive accelerator for climate-smart farming techniques, renewable energy applications, and business model innovation to create enterprises that enhance adaptation capacity and economic returns of women agricultural entrepreneurs. Participants saw 102% average revenue growth in one year.

Training and placing women solar technicians across the Philippines, including Romella Faith Sabille, who went from never holding a power tool to installing solar systems for dozens of households.

Offers peer mentorship + policy advocacy. Magi Farm received funding for a pioneering, community-focused pilot project and are now scaling to service and hospitality businesses across the island, mitigating over 55MT of emissions.

Uganda clean energy

70% of our participants are women. Through gender-inclusive programming, loans, and training, community-based organizations transform into clean energy entrepreneurs powering homes, businesses, and a sustainable future from the ground up.

Magi Farms, Indonesia

Ima Rida co-founded Magi Farms to fight food waste with Black Soldier Fly larvae, turning trash into compost and climate action in Bali.
