New Energy Nexus has partnered with Greenpeace to launch Powerlab, China’s non-profit cleantech incubator to promote energy entrepreneurship in China. The mission of Powerlab is to provide comprehensive support on capacity-building, mentoring, and relationship building for Chinese cleantech startups.

At the Sino-Us Clean Energy Innovation Fest, five Chinese teams were selected to debut their venture idea to a panel of institutional investors, tech analysts and industry press. In an effort to promote collaboration between China and the US, seven later stage startups from Silicon Valley presented their companies and founding story.
MARKETPLACE AND WORKSHOP
On the second day of the Sino-US Clean Energy Innovation Fest, both US and Chinese startups participated in a full day workshop exploring the challenges of scaling a startup in different markets and exchanging best practices on recruiting and retaining top talent.
